I get an error in the logs .

We can't reproduce this issue. Probably you added some empty codes.
Please provide us with an admin access to your website to check this issue(URL, login, Password).

I have since discovered that this line is returning null and this is passing through to the regex which is crashing.
string postalCode = GenericAttributeExtensions.GetAttribute<string>(this._workContext.get_CurrentCustomer(), SystemCustomerAttributeNames.get_ZipPostalCode(), 0);

can you assist with that? Why is this returning null?

You are using  Registration method: Email Validation.
We changed a bit our plugin.
Please download a new version of plugin and replace your local version with a new one.
